Recently, Korea's LS Cable & System Group has launched a new 5G Poe product, Simplewide™ 2.0, which currently has the fastest communication speed in the world.
LS Cable Group hopes that its new product (Simplewide™ 2.0) can replace the high-cost fiber optic cables used by multi-channel cameras, high-quality CCTV, etc.
Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows a single cable to transmit data and power simultaneously. The communication speed of Simplewide™ 2.0 is 5Gbps, the maximum transmission distance is 180 meters, and the power is 100W. The 5G communication speed allows IP cameras, CCTV, and IoT to transmit high-quality video and backup data.
In addition, the power of Simplewide™ 2.0 has increased to 100W, which is currently the highest power in the world and can be used for high-performance CCTV equipped with motion sensors.
A spokesperson for LS Company said: "Compared with optical cables, the installation cost can be reduced by 40-50%, and there is no need to install power lines or sockets… The demand for our new products in subways, parks, schools, sports venues, and smart buildings is increasing."
