From January to April 2024, China's photovoltaic industry maintained high-level operations. According to the information from the photovoltaic industry-standard announcement enterprises and industry association calculations, the national export volume of crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules reached 83.8GW, a year-on-year increase of 20%, with the total export value of photovoltaic products reaching 12.7 billion USD.

In the polysilicon segment, from January to April, the national production reached 700,000 tons.

In the silicon wafer segment, from January to April, the national production reached 320GW, with an export volume of 26.3GW.

In the cell segment, from January to April, the national production of crystalline silicon cells was 240GW.

In the module segment, from January to April, the national production of crystalline silicon modules was 196GW, a year-on-year increase of 52.9%.

According to data previously released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, from January to February 2024, the national production of crystalline silicon modules increased by nearly 40% year-on-year, with the total export value of photovoltaic products exceeding 6.2 billion USD. In the polysilicon segment, from January to February, the national production was about 330,000 tons. In the silicon wafer segment, from January to February, the national production was 130GW; with an export volume reaching 9.3GW, a year-on-year increase of 7.4%. In the cell segment, from January to February, the national production of crystalline silicon cells was 100GW, with an export volume reaching 9.5 GW. In the module segment, from January to February, the national production of crystalline silicon modules was 76GW, a year-on-year increase of 39.4%; with an export volume reaching 40.1GW, a year-on-year increase of 41%.
